Dominica Island

Dominica has long been a leader in sustainable construction, particularly focusing on green building methodologies. The island's dedication to environmentally responsible construction practices is reflected in its utilization of sustainable materials, the adoption of renewable energy solutions, and the incorporation of conservation initiatives

within construction endeavors.

A significant aspect of green building practices in Dominica is the employment of sustainable materials. Locally sourced resources such as bamboo, clay, and stone are frequently utilized in construction, demonstrating durability, cost-effectiveness, and environmental friendliness. Furthermore, the use of recycled materials, including concrete and steel, contributes to waste reduction and minimizes the carbon footprint associated with construction activities.

Dominica, formally recognized as the Commonwealth of Dominica, is an island in the Eastern Caribbean covering an area of 290 square miles and boasting a population of 71,941 residents. This nation, which achieved independence and became a member of the Commonwealth in 1978, is often referred to as the "Nature Isle of the Caribbean" due to its abundant rivers and rainforests, as well as its diverse range of plant and animal life. Additionally, Dominica is a member of several international organizations, including the United Nations, the Organization of American States, the Caribbean Community, and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States. The country is characterized by a stable economic and political environment.

Dominica's economic development approach heavily focuses on attracting foreign direct investment, particularly in sectors like eco-tourism, renewable energy (especially geothermal), and sustainable agriculture, while prioritizing climate resilience and environmental protection, aiming to diversify its economy beyond its traditional reliance on banana production and promote sustainable growth through initiatives like the "Nature Island" branding.

Dominica’s Journey to become the World’s First Climate Resilient Country

Dominica, a Caribbean island nation, is working to become the world's first climate-resilient country. The country has made significant progress in sustainability efforts, including:

  • Renewable energy

Dominica is harnessing geothermal energy to reduce its reliance on fossil fuels.

  • Sustainable agriculture

The government encourages local farmers to use organic farming practices to improve soil health and reduce chemical usage.

  • Sustainable tourism

Dominica promotes eco-tourism to attract visitors who respect the environment.

  • Reducing plastic waste

Dominica banned single-use plastics, Styrofoam cups, and food containers in 2019. The country also provides reusable bags to households through the Go Green Dominica initiative.

  • Coral restoration

Dominica has a coral nursery project that propagates live corals to help restore impaired reefs.

  • Sustainable forest management

Dominica released its first formal forest policy in 2022, which includes a long-term vision for sustainable forest management.

The International Airport

The Dominica International Airport Project represents the largest contracted initiative in both the history of Dominica and the Eastern Caribbean region to date. Scheduled for completion in 2027, this airport is poised to transform the "nature island," creating numerous opportunities for socio-economic development. This is a real game changer.

A unique investment opportunity

We firmly believe that the luxury eco-development project in Dominica presents a sustainable and self-sufficient paradise for investors. This represents a genuine opportunity for early investors, as one can envision. Once the international airport and luxury cruise marina are established, the value of land and real estate is expected to rise considerably. Having been preserved as a time capsule and regarded as one of the Caribbean's best-kept secrets, this is a unique investment opportunity that may not arise again.
